(SCC)-Liuzhou Polytechnic University (LZPU) International Industry Institute ("International Industry Institute") was unveiled in LZPU. The institute is the first international industry college in the field of modern printed circuit boards in China. Through tailored training for Chinese students' "foreign language + vocational skills" and Thai students' "Chinese + vocational skills", it aims to cultivate high-quality skilled talent with international vision and professional expertise. This initiative supports the international development of SCC and injects new momentum into the manufacturing upgrade of Chinese enterprises going global.

At the unveiling ceremony, Zhang Lijun, Deputy General Manager of SCC, donated nine sets of advanced manufacturing equipment to Gan Jinming, President of LZPU. The donation aims to support LZPU in establishing a modern printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing training base integrating teaching, training, and         R&D. Liu Min, Deputy Director of Liuzhou Municipal Education Bureau, Fang Gengsen, Director of Human Resources Department of SCC, Hu Jianhong, Factory Director of PCB Division, Zhang Xingdong, Director of Shenzhen GreaTech Substrates Co., Ltd., Chen Shizheng, Recruitment Manager of Human Resources Department, Qiu Fuming, Vice President of LZPU, and leaders of relevant departments attended and witnessed the ceremony.

SCC and LZPU began their collaboration in 2016. Sharing a common vision and work style, the two parties quickly aligned, strengthening their cooperation. In 2023, SCC planned to establish a base in Thailand. In response, LZPU promptly developed a tailored, two-way training program for both Chinese and Thai students, addressing the company's need for internationally skilled talent. In collaboration with Nakhonsawan Vocational College of Thailand, LZPU trained 77 Chinese and Thai students for SCC, ensuring the smooth commissioning of the company's base in Thailand. The excellent international industry-education integration school-running model has been highly recognized by the Vocational Education Commission, Ministry of Education of Thailand. At the graduation ceremony, the General Secretary of the Thai Vocational Education Commission recorded a congratulatory video and awarded LZPU the honorary title of "Outstanding Partner".

In the context of Chinese manufacturing going global, the International Industry Institute represents a new initiative launched collaboratively by both parties, building upon their prior experience in international education. The goal is to upgrade the cooperation model of the traditional industry institute and establish a collaborative education framework that connects with the overseas International Craftsman College. The SCC-LZPU International Industry Institute adopts a "dual dean system" management model and operates through four functional divisions: Teaching, Teaching Research, Student Affairs, and Comprehensive Services. By adopting a pathway of "transnational dual campuses + domestic enterprise practice," the institute aims to build a talent training system that seamlessly integrates the "education chain-talent chain-industry chain", setting a new benchmark for international industry-education integration in vocational colleges focused on both academic engagement and practical output. The first phase of the project will focus on providing customized talent training in areas such as intelligent production line operation and international quality standards for SCC Thailand Base and local electronic information enterprises in Liuzhou. The institute not only supports the global business expansion of Chinese companies but also aims to establish itself as a new benchmark for international cooperation in regional vocational education. In the future, the International Industry Institute aims to advance the international vocational certification system in the field of PCB manufacturing. It plans to collaborate with ASEAN colleges on curriculum development and skills training, working toward establishing a China-ASEAN vocational education cooperation platform with exemplary significance.
