From News Center (Text/Photo by Qin Xizhi, International Exchange Department (School of International Education) At 19:00 on June 23, 2025, the opening ceremony of the Third Batch of "Chinese + Engineering Machinery" Tailored Class of China-Indonesia Institute of Modern Craftsmanship of Intelligent Vehicle (Institute of Modern Craftsmanship) was held grandly. The number of students enrolled in this tailored class has reached 111, the highest enrollment since the establishment of the Institute of Modern Craftsmanship, setting a new high. the online opening ceremony was also attended by Dr. Yogi Widiawati MHum, Assistant Vice President of Politeknik Negeri Jakarta (PNJ), Dr. Irma Salamah, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department of Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya (POLSRI), Pak Trisno Raharjo, Deputy General Manager of After-Sales Service of PT. LiuGong Machinery Indonesia, Wu Zhaohui, Deputy Dean of the School of International Education of LZPU, teachers of the team teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and 111 students from the tailored class of two Indonesian colleges.

At the opening ceremony, representatives from LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd. and LZPU highly praised the tripartite international education cooperation model, emphasized the importance of Chinese in international cooperation, and encouraged students to diligently improve their Chinese proficiency to lay a strong foundation for their future career development. Student representatives from PNJ and POLSRI also made statements, expressing their determination to overcome challenges in upcoming online learning sessions, dedicate themselves to studying Chinese, and work hard toward earning the opportunity to acquire skills in Liuzhou.

In recent years, LZPU has steadfastly supported local leading enterprises in their efforts to "go global," actively advancing tailored training for "Chinese + vocational skills" and joint academic education of overseas localized talent. The China-ASEAN Institute of Modern Craftsmanship has further expanded its cooperation. Currently, it has cooperated with six companies and eight colleges to support the development of Chinese companies such as LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd., Gotion High-tech Co., Ltd., and Dongguan NVT Technology Co., Ltd. (NVT) in Indonesia. As PT. LiuGong Machinery Indonesia continues to expand its business, the enrollment for the third batch of tailored class has hit a record high. Furthermore, LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd. plans to expand the number of scholarships to support students pursuing their studies at LZPU. Among the 111 students, 30 outstanding students will be selected to study at LZPU, helping cultivate talent for the company's future development.
